On arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International airport, you will be met by your Captain, Phil Mathews and transferred by helicopter to Enasoit Ranch.

Enasoit offers a luxury tented camp for up to 12 people, in 3 doubles and 3 twins all en-suite. Built in a rustic style to blend with the environment, both in canvas and permanent materials found in the area. This private luxury camp is set on the plains of Enasoit Ranch overlooking a waterhole frequented by animals and birdlife.

The helicopter will be with you during your Kenyan Safari. Your first three days will be spent on Enasoit, a private 5,000 acre ranch situated at the foot of the Lodiga Hills, a corridor of land teeming with wildlife. Giraffe in Enasoit Game Reserve.

Activities include fishing on Mount Kenya, sundowners on Lolokwe, walking on the ranch, game drives, picnics or tea on the Ewasso Ngiro or a trip to the Magado Crater.

Your hosts Karen and Pete Glover will see to your every need whilst the cateress will ensure superb cuisine during your stay. Phil will be on hand throughout to guide you by helicopter to exciting areas where very few have had the pleasure to explore! You will enjoy two hours of helicopter flying time a day whilst in the bush.

Trout Fishing on Mount Kenya.

After departing Enasoit you will fly over the sand dunes and the Flamingo covered Lake Logipi to the shores of Lake Turkana. Here you will enjoy one day of fishing with a night on the House Boat Lokel. Located on the Southern Eastern shores of Lake Turkana, a lake better known as the Jade Sea.

Lokel is hosted by Colin and Sue Birch and sleeps 4 clients in 2 twin rooms plus 2 toilets, a shower, kitchen and open dining and sitting area. For 8 people Lokel can be chartered for the day and two nights spent at Kalacha instead.

A wild place with breath taking scenery, Lake Turkana offers the angler a chance to catch the King of Africa’s fresh water fish, The Nile Perch.

Rising early for a one-hour flight to Kalacha Camp, for a morning of Sandgrouse shooting and a helicopter excursion into the desert to see the Rock Art at Afgaba, or the famous Chalbi Sand Dune.

Situated in the Chalbi Desert, in North Eastern Kenya, Kalacha Camp sits on the edge of a permanent oasis.

The camp consists of 4 simple but comfortable bandas with twin beds and en-suite bathrooms, all overlooking the oasis. With the mess area partially covering the swimming pool and offering an extremely refreshing escape from the hot, dry desert weather.

Attractions include walking around the oasis, fantastic photographic opportunities, watching the enchanting Gabbra people, sundowners in the desert and the Sandgrouse, which the area is famous for (the seasons for Sandgrouse shooting run from the 1st September to end of October and again from the 1st January to end of February). Huge flights of Sandgrouse come to the springs from the surrounding desert areas and shooting can take place in the early morning or evenings.

Depart Kalacha after breakfast to join Helen Dufresne and her train of camels for a 3 day tailor made Camel Safari through the Northern Frontier District, land of the Samburu, and explore the Ndoto Mountains and the scenic Mathews Range.

Your hosts Helen and her loyal Samburu crew will ensure that you enjoy your camel safari in every possible way.

In the fresh, pink light of dawn, follow a lugga, a sandy highway lined with acacia, with a birdsong in the air and a dog for company. Using camels to carry camping gear and supplies, enabling one to travel in style in this rugged and relatively unexplored country. Take a hot shower by the light of the moon, dine by candlelight in the bush and fall asleep under the vast bowl of a silent universe and a million stars.

Head off by private charter to Kiwayu/Lamu, on the North Kenyan coast for a 4 day sea safari on the Tusitiri Dhow and sail down from Kiwayu to Lamu (or vice versa depending on the monsoon).

Tusitiri is a 20 metre Jahazi (Dhow), originally built in Lamu over 20 years ago. Offering a unique opportunity to sail around the Lamu archipelago in the tradition of Arab sailors plying the spice route. When conditions allow Tusitiri raises her majestic sails in time-honoured tradition.
Meals are predominantly seafood, delicious fresh tuna, huge crabs and jumbo prawns.

A traditional dhow in look with the luxury of every modern day comfort. Her spacious decks and gracious furnishings allow for up to 12 guests and require a minimum crew of six to man her under sail. On board facilities include a galley, bathroom amenities, cabin space for luggage and dressing, ample water storage and refrigeration. She also carries a diving compressor.

During the day activities range from the adventurous to the sporty, perfect for those seeking fun and adventure or total relaxation. One can explore the islands, snorkel or scuba dive, water ski, wind-surf, go fishing, walk on deserted beaches, swim or simply relax and sunbath. In the evenings the heavens become your ceiling and soft cushions are laid out to lounge on before dinner is served. You sleep on deck on comfortable bedding laid out at nightfall, under the stars and Africa’s magnificent moon, shimmering in the Indian Ocean and bathing Tusitiri’s decks with magical moonlight.

Tusitiri is run by Joff Minns your Captain and Vanessa who supervises the food and finer details on board, ensuring superb cuisine and the ultimate getaway.

On your last day you will be collected by private charter and flown direct to Jomo Kenyatta airport in Nairobi to board your international flight.
