The weather around Lamu is generally warm and sunny from mid-July through to mid-April with the warmest months between November and March. Due to a constant sea breeze, conditions on board are always extremely comfortable.



Tusitiri sails from August through to mid-April.



Those taking the full board option enjoy all meals, beers, house wines, soft drinks, laundry, and all activities.



Health insurance, gratuities, champagne & spirits (a small stock is carried), flights and transfers.



For overnight excursions Tusitiri is not recommended for children under 8 years.

Sun protection (hats, suncream, glasses), a light jacket or pashmina, swimwear, binoculars, cameras and film.

No anti-malaria drugs are 100% effective and all travellers are advised to use sufficient protection to prevent being bitten by mosquitoes. Tusitiri is mainly moored offshore with a sea breeze so mosquitoes are generally rare. Treated nets are available on request. As with all destinations in Africa comprehensive medical insurance is strongly advised.
